Thanks a lot. But its a little boring job too. But I also found it very useful as my blog has got nearly 3000+ traffic from only 200+ comments. I count them manually, didn't found any automatic way. However, my blog has only 770 backlinks now.

You have very good info on your website. Commenting on blogs will get you backlinks, and yes, it is best to post comments on blogs that are already ranked high in search engines. Google changed its algorithm recently and the quality of the backlinks (a few on more reputable websites) is more important than the quantity of backlinks (hundreds on small unknown blogs that don't rank in Google). So spend a lot of time on high ranked blogs posting quality comments. I talk a lot about this in my blog and other ways to market your blogs to make a living.

@Emily: Thanks. This was an old experiment but I'm still doing blog commenting. In fact rediscovering the benefits I was preaching years ago....some things we can never stop doing as a blogger I guess.
